Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino isn't keeping The Situation workout secrets to himself anymore.
Mike Sorrentino is best known for his break out role on the hit MTV series, The Jersey Shore, where he became known as The Situation, a self proclaimed nickname he stated on the show- "This is The Situation right here, my abs are so ripped up...we call it The Situation." His daily schedule consists of the dynamic trio: G.T.L. Gym, Tanning, Laundry. . Mike can currently be seen starring in Jersey Shore, as well as on the dance floor as a contestant on ABC s hit show Dancing with the Stars.

The GOOD:
When I saw that The Situation workout had a workout video I just had to get it. I used to be an aerobics instructor and personal trainer and know all the basic exercise moves and was surprised to see some new ones in this video that I was not familiar with! I am a fan of The Situation, so just having him on a workout video is enough to motivate me to exercise and he makes it fun! After doing the same thing over and over (watching the same dvds and the same instructors), I was so happy to find something and someone new to add to my exercise library! I hope he makes some more exercise dvds.
Also, I liked that he had another male and a female doing the exercises while he talks to us, but it seemed weird that he didn't call her by name - he kept saying "my girl" when he referred to her. I would have liked him to refer to her by her name. The guy, Unit, is one of Mike's long-time friends. I would have LOVED to see other Jersey Shore cast members in the video - maybe in the next one???
I think it is really cool of The Situation workout to give a free 10-minute download of some of his ab exercises. I think that is a stand up thing to do because not many people are giving away free downloads.
One major plus about this dvd is that it is divided into 5 sections: one on upper body, one on arms, one on glutes and legs and two on abs. That's a plus when you only want to work on upper body or only want to work on legs, etc. You can customize you own workout and do what you want on the days you want. And I have to say, his "secret exercise" is really cool!!
When I was reading some of the negative comments, it reminded me of when The Situation talks about haters - he says it right in his exercise video! And it's true, these people making these negative comments are all just jealous haters! Contents:

If you don't like "The Situation" on Jersey Shore, then you're not going to like him as a trainer. The major complains about "The Situation" DVD was about Mike himself, the way he talks and hits on women.
