The in-demand Brit was keen to talk up the super-diet he’s consuming in his efforts to get the body of Krypton’s favorite son:
“I’m on 5000 calories a day… You’ve got to eat protein first, then a little bit of carbs…you’ve gotta keep your hunger levels going. I’m training two and a half hours a day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass and just making myself look like Superman.”
Before you can become and iconic superhero, you have to have the body - right? On wearing his new threads, Cavill told totalfilm: “It’s extremely cool. There’s no other feeling like it.
"It's going to be a different kind of shape. When you see the Immortals shape you'll see what I mean," he told the site. "We obviously haven't had the final brief yet, it's going to adapt and change as far as when Mark sees my body adapting to the training he'll go, 'Okay, Henry can do this,' or 'Henry can't do this,' or 'His body will look better like that.' It'll be fine-tuned and tweaked as we go along. But I think it's going to be a different sort of shape from 'Immortals.'"
“They just put it on, I turned around and look in the mirror and you can’t really play it cool – you sort of guffaw and laugh. I thought ‘OK, holy hell, this is real, it’s not a joke anymore. This is it…you’re doing it, you’re right in the middle of it.’”

Cavill’s plan is to get himself into the right proportions through muscle building, dieting and a strict workout routine.
The Huffington Post notes that Cavill has previous experience in sculpting his body for movie roles through his experience in The Immortals – Cavill portrays Theseus, Poseidon’s son who grows up to be King of Athens. His demi-god status will be in the film, ‘Immortals’, in November this year. To be a demi-god you have to be buff and have that envied Hollywood Body.
